The art of wild art.

There is a very distinct job that I have been working at over the years and that is being a wild art hunter.

What does it bring to mind for you? Jungle safari in Africa? Something else wild and crazy?

For us in the business, it is a big part of the daily grind. It's that time in between assignments when you're looking for something to happen (aesthetically pleasing preferably). Something maybe with emotion, something mundane with an interesting twist, maybe a quiet moment; just something that catches your eye.

Sometimes I walk around a park or the beach. Sometimes I drive around to new areas for inspiration. Sometimes I get a tip on an event happening that day. I never know what exactly it's going to be and that's the beauty of the whole idea. You're available for the moment to happen in front of you. Sometimes it can be really difficult to find something that you haven't seen before. But it's that one day when you have a chance meeting on the street that turns into a brilliant story that keeps you going out and looking with an open mind.
